"Thalia" Individual Gold-Leafed 4"x6" Linoleum Block Print

This is one print of a twelve-print series, entitled "On the Horizon," depicting women in the water. Each woman has an imagined story of her connection to the water.

This is Thalia. When she was a young girl, her aunt would take her down to the river on Saturdays for what she called “river magic extravaganzas”. The most mundane pebble would become something close to gold due to her aunt’s enthusiastic storytelling. Skipping rocks, searching for crawdads, and swimming in the sea still areas of the river are her greatest memories of childhood. Her aunt still goes to the river with her when she’s in town, but Thalia frequents her favorite spot several times throughout the week to take in the magic of the river and connect with her inner child.

Your purchase includes one 4"x6" gold-leafed linoleum block print. A print out of the woman's story will also be included with the print. It will be packaged in a plastic sleeve with a rigid mailer to protect from the elements.
