"Olga" Individual Gold-Leafed 4"x6" Linoleum Block Print

This is one print of a twelve-print series, entitled "On the Horizon," depicting women in the water. Each woman has an imagined story of her connection to the water.

This is Olga. When she was 28, she took a road trip to a beautiful lake in a charming small town. She packed up her car, made a reservation at a quaint B&B and hit the road until she found herself driving the roads parallel the lake with the windows down and the summer sun reflecting off her hands. Her goal for the weekend was quiet, devoid of people. However, she met the old man that ran the B&B, and that goal soon changed. He had a kind ear and two comfortable rocking chairs on the porch. She connected with him instantly about life, hardship, and the beauty of the lake. That weekend, surrounded by water and her new friend changed her perspective and she left with her cup full, feeling lighter than ever.

Your purchase includes one 4"x6" gold-leafed linoleum block print. A print out of the woman's story will also be included with the print. It will be packaged in a plastic sleeve with a rigid mailer to protect from the elements.
