May 2023 Market Schedule + A Peek at a new Block in Progress

Hello from Emily’s studio!
Thank you to everyone who came out to shop local this past month at the shows I attended. I had a fun time at the Pancakes and Booze show where I displayed some of my mixed media pieces alongside my linoleum block prints. I met many talented artists at this show.

May 21st: Wyoming Art Show

Located along the tree lined streets of historic Wyoming, OH

My newest print, 'Come with Me,' will be available along with many of my older prints. This month between markets I will be hard at work carving and printing new blocks to have a nice selection of new work at all my outdoor shows this summer.

The above work in progress includes Broadway Fountain in Madison, Indiana. My wife grew up in this small river town and this fountain was a staple landmark of her childhood. I'm happy to announce I will be an artist at the Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art. My wife has always encouraged me to apply and I finally took the step this year. It's a two day festival that lines the streets along the Ohio River on September 30th and October 1st this year. I will share more about this at a later time, along with news of other shows I will attend.
I love to see familiar and new faces at these shows. It’s always so nice to connect with people in person. If you are local and reading this, I would love to see you at my coming May markets. There are going to be so many artisans at these events with massive talent. I can’t wait to see my neighbors’ booths!
